Azzam

The largest yacht in the world was launched in 2013. It is Azzam – 180 m long motor yacht. She overtook the leading position for biggest yacht in the world from Eclipse.

The largest yacht was launched by the leading luxury yacht shipyard Lurssen. Eng. Mubarak Saad al Ahbabi developed and led each area of the project. The largest yacht in the world is a luxurious vessel with timeless design and high speed (more than 30 knots).

Lurssen were responsible for the techical engineering of Azzam. Nauta Yachts designed the exterior of the largest yacht in the world, the interior is Christophe Leoni's.

Madame GU

The second largest yacht for 2013 is Madame GU.

She is a luxury motor yacht built in Makkum, the Netherlands, by Feadship. De Voogt Naval Architects designed the exterior and the engineering. Andrew Winch Designs designed the interior.

The second largest yacht for 2013 has a maximum speed of 22 knots, her hull is made of steel with an aluminium superstructure.

The third largest yacht for 2013 is Y709.

She is a motor yacht built in Alblasserdam, the Netherlands, by Oceanco. The third largest yacht for 2013 can accommodate guests up to eighteen in her suites which are nine.

Oceanco designed the exterior, Andrew Winch Designs- the interior. Y709 maximum speed is 19.5 knots.

St Princess Olga

The fourth largest yacht launched in 2013 is St Princess Olga. She was built in Alblasserdam the Netherlands, by Oceanco. Alberto Pinto is the interior designer and Lobanov Design designed the exterior.

The fourth largest yacht maximum speed is 18.5 knots. She has 7 cabins – one for the owner, two VIP, one twin and three double. The guest can be up to 14.

Solandge

The fifth largest yacht launched in 2013 is Solandge. She was built in Rendsburg, Germany, by Lurssen. Rodriguez Interiors designed the interior, Espen Oeino designed the exterior.

She is flagged in the Cayman Islands and her gross tonnage is 2,600 tonnes.

Secret

The sixth largest yacht launched in 2013 is Secret. She is a motor yacht built in Lemwerder, Germany, by Abeking & Rasmussen. Jim Harris designed the interior, Sam Sorgiovanni Designs designed the exterior.
